Computer Training and Other Skills
EducationIt was all joy during graduation day skills development is our goal. All our beneficiaries were so happy to receive their certificates of attendance and almost all of them was their first time to learn computers.
MCI’s aim is to prepare young people, adults and elderly people who did not have the opportunity of acquiring a skill and to provide them with the skills that can help them to be self-reliant. In line with this, the organization seeks to empower its beneficiaries through computer training, sewing, welding, after school activities, and agricultural projects among others. It is better to teach a person to fish than to continue giving a person that fish.
Skills development will continue to be our main focus. MCI is aware that providing a person with education is better than giving a gift for education goes a long way in a person’s life.
The future focus of this project is the development of Skills Development Centres, and the provision of life skills, After school activities, i.e. English, Maths, Science teaching, and building Schools in most rural areas locally and internationally.
